The Matlacha Hookers, is a 501c3 woman’s charitable non-profit organization. Our organization has members from Matlacha and the Greater Pine Island area, as well as, Cape Coral, North Ft. Myers and Ft. Myers.
This year we are hosting our 9th Annual Event on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 1pm-4pm at St James City Civic Center in St James City, Florida. Rain date is March 7th.
The proceeds are donated to The Beacon of Hope’s Senior Programs, a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping the needs of the Greater Pine Island Community.
Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 on the day of the event. Join us for a fun afternoon, sampling rum, beer and wine and C.W. Fudge’s wonderful confections that they make at the store. Live Music and Polynesian Dance, Rum Punch and “Welcoming “Leis”, Appetizers, and Island Food for the guests to enjoy. The local band “Pine Island” Sound will be performing.
Please be assured that we are adhering to the CDC protocols. The event will be held outdoors with Pine Island Sound on stage with dancing and social distant seating in front and back into the beautiful shady moss trees. Our food and wines will be single served in areas to maintain social distancing. Our Silent Auction, Raffles and Mystery Wines will also be on display in a safe environment. As with all SJCC events, all participants will be required to wear a mask or face shield when not seated with your group. In the case of rain, the event will be held the following Sunday March 7th. If we must cancel the event, with patrons can either donate the ticket money or request a refund by March 15th. Discussions will continue as the COVID-19 situation changes and evolves.
