January 2019 to Present: Reporter at WINK News, covering news in Collier County.

October 2016 to Jan 2019: Jerrica Valtierra worked at a news station in Rockford, Illinois. She started off after college, as a Reporter, then later went on to tell stories at the desk through anchoring the evening weekday hour long newscasts. She spent her final year at the station being the Executive Producer and Anchor for the weekend newscast, and leading the newsroom.

Work hard and be diligent to make sure stories are always honest and fair. A story can change someone’s life and give them a voice.

Hobbies, Interest & Community Involvement

Playing soccer, softball, basketball, golf is always a recipe for a quality day outside. Jerrica likes to spend time hanging out with family and friends. In addition to watching Chicago sports. Always willing to spare time for those in need and less fortunate.


Jerrica graduated from DePaul University in Chicago with a Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism and a concentration in Rhetoric.
