Awards & Recognition

Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) designation from the American Meteorological Society.

I covered Hurricane Matthew in 2016 as the storm went right over Myrtle Beach and covered Irma’s significant impact to the area as a tropical storm in 2017.

News Philosophy

Our job as meteorologists isn’t just to forecast the weather. It’s explaining the science to you, the viewer, in a fun, accurate and engaging way!

Hobbies, Interests & Community Involvement

I love exploring the outdoors with friends, family, and especially my puppy, Roger! I much prefer Diet Coke over coffee. I love to learn and would attend school for the rest of my life (and forecast the weather on the side) if I could. I enjoy being active as a dancer and swimmer, but football is my favorite sport - although I never played. Growing up an Auburn fan, I’ll always have a loyalty to the Tigers, but my main sports teams are the Florida Gators, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Braves. I’m an alumni of the Chi Omega Fraternity and very passionate about our philanthropy, the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
