2 suspected of using counterfeit cash at Lee County pet supply store

Two people are suspected of using counterfeit cash at a pet supply store Monday afternoon in Lee County.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the man and the woman seen in security camera footage arrived at Pet Supplies Plus, located at 18550 San Carlos Blvd., shortly before 3:30 p.m. and passed a counterfeit $100 bill.

If you know who they are, you can call Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-8477. All callers will remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000. Tips may also be made online or on the P3 Tips app.
