Rain chances return to Southwest Florida

High temperatures will reach the upper 70s and low 80s under cloudy skies. High humidity will still make the majority of Southwest Florida “feel like” they are experiencing high temperatures in the 80s. Breezy conditions will persist throughout the day, with sustained winds of ten to twenty miles per hour blowing from the northeast.

Isolated rain chances are in Monday’s forecast. A few showers will begin in the morning. By the late morning, rain chances will begin to climb into the early afternoon. Their coverage will decrease into the evening. Severe weather is not in Monday’s forecast. Tonight will be mainly dry with a few stray showers.

There are no active named storms or disturbances in the tropics. The Weather Authority is not forecasting any additional named storms to form within the next week. This is fantastic news as we are now only nine days away from the end of our Atlantic hurricane season.
