In the tropics, there are three areas of interest. However, the disturbance in the eastern Caribbean is the one to watch as it moves towards Florida over the next several days.

A subtropical storm will likely impact Florida mid to late next week. The threat of heavy rain and gusty winds over 40+ MPH is increasing. Coastal flooding and beach erosion will be a problem on the Florida east coast with persistent strong onshore flow.

As for today, it’s looking hot, with highs back in the upper 80s and low 90s under partly cloudy skies.

A few showers will be possible toward the evening, but most of us will stay dry.

Rain chances will stay low for Sunday and Monday. After that, we see increasing rain chance chances, more cloud cover, and gustier winds as the hybrid howler moves in our general direction.
