An insurance village has been set up by Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis at the Florida Department of Financial Services to assist residents with insurance claims.

The insurance village operates daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Port Charlotte Town Center Mall parking lot, 1441 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte.

Homeowners who need to speak with an insurance expert can also call 1-877-693-5236, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, due to limited staffing, you are encouraged to visit the insurance village in person.
