Man facing second-degree murder charge for Immokalee homicide

A man was arrested Sunday, accused of a homicide in Immokalee that morning.

Chadrick Austile was arrested by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office as a suspect in a homicide at around 2 a.m.

According to an arrest report, deputies were called to a home on Willie Mae Harper Drive for a suspicious incident.

When deputies arrived, they announced their presence and saw a man inside the home, later identified as Austile, move something on the floor before opening the door and letting them in, according to the report.
