Deputies say they arrested Xavier Gray, 23, of Naples. They say he is a known gang member and has been arrested three times for grand theft auto. According to deputies, they received a call on Sunday from an employee of the pool company who said they were following a company truck that was taken without permission. The employee told deputies that they were able to track down the truck because it was equipped with a GPS monitor. They said no one had permission to take the truck and wanted to press charges. Deputies found the truck as it was turning into the parking lot of the Founder Square plaza on Immokalee Road near Crisp and Clean. Deputies say Gray was taken into custody in the parking lot without issue. They say he apologized for taking the company’s truck without permission. Gray is being held in the Collier County Jail, facing charges of grand theft auto and violating his probation.
