The boat that belongs to the missing doctor, Chaundre Cross, has been towed back to dry land.

Thursday evening, the boat, a 34-foot Sea Ray named Vitamin Sea, was found in the Gulf of Mexico between Naples and Sanibel.

WINK News spoke with the U.S Coast Guard, and they said the doctor’s boat has been moved in coordination with the family.

They have not released the new location of the boat.

The Coast Guard sent a Sentry 144 plane from Miami Saturday morning to search for  Cross.

They said that the search was unsuccessful.

Cross left Naples Bay Resort Wednesday morning and vanished.

Court records show the same day the doctor disappeared, his wife filed for divorce.

The Coast Guard said nothing was found on the boat that would indicate suspicious activity, and they will be continuing the search.
