Warmer weather with isolated storms inland

A slightly warmer afternoon will see a large amount of Southwest Florida reach the lower to mid-90s. After a mostly sunny start, partly cloudy skies will develop after lunchtime.

Rain chances will return to our inland zones. The strength and coverage of these will be slightly higher than Monday’s storms.

Higher rain chances will return to the coastline by Friday. This will kick off a very active stretch of showers and storms.

With most of Wednesday’s rain chances remaining inland, our boating forecast is looking fantastic.

There is no cyclone development expected over the next five days. Weather models are now less enthusiastic about the odds of a named storm forming in the Caribbean or Gulf of Mexico next week.
