Person of interest sought in theft of golf clubs from North Fort Myers store

Authorities are searching for a person of interest in a theft from a golf store in North Fort Myers.

The theft happened on May 12 at Golf World at 19001 North Tamiami Trail.

The subject visited the store four times in the last three weeks, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

Authorities say a set of Mizuno JPX 921 Forged Irons golf clubs, valued at $1,225.99, went missing.

The subject was also seen at the Golf & Casual Shop at 11900 South Cleveland Avenue.

The subject is possibly using a U-Haul box truck or pickup at the time of the crimes.
