Felony stop on US-41 near Almonte Terrace (CREDIT: WINK News) Public Information Officer for the North Port Police says after investigating a stolen truck out of Indiana, they’ve arrested Cory Whiteaker on Sunday for driving on a suspended license. The felony stop occurred on US-41 near Almonte Terrace and has caused a heavy police presence. North Port police said several individuals are being questioned and it is the early stages of the investigation. No other details have been released.
