Dry start to rainy season

Your Sunday is looking very summerlike with partly cloudy skies, and highs back in the lower 90s. Later this afternoon, a few isolated storms will fire up inland, but areas near the coast should remain mostly dry.
Looking ahead to the week, all looks dry through midweek, but towards the end of the week into the weekend, a deep surge of tropical moisture will bring back scattered storms to the forecast.

The National Hurricane Center will begin issuing tropical weather outlooks today. All is quiet in the tropics, and tropical development is not expected over the next five days.
