Drier, windier weather for Southwest Florida

Expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s.

While we are not forecasting rain chances Tuesday, our winds will be breezy.

Boaters will encounter rough conditions on the water due to the increased winds.

We will continue this stretch of dry weather until low-end rain chances return on Friday.

There remains a small chance that an area of disturbed weather could become our first named storm of the season off the east coast of the U.S.

Even if this system receives a name, it would likely stay on the weaker side and bring minimal-to-no impacts to Southwest Florida.

The first name on our 2021 storm naming list would be Alex.
