Scattered storms, warm weather for Southwest Florida

Highs will reach the upper 80s and lower 90s ahead of scattered showers and thunderstorms.

A few spotty rain and thunderstorm chances will begin closer to lunchtime.

However, better chances will take shape towards the late afternoon and early evening.

The active weather pattern will carry over into next week as well. Expect scattered rain and storms each day in the near future.

Boaters will have decent conditions on the water. To dodge most of the rain, take the boat out earlier in the day if you can.
