Wednesday will feature more of what we’ve already seen for the past couple of days, with hot and slightly more humid conditions and a chance for a few hit-or-miss storms by the afternoon. Highs will be back into the low to even mid-90s for some Wednesday afternoon. Beginning Thursday, a weak front moving in from the north will promote higher rain chances. Look for scattered rain and storms beginning Thursday through at least the start of the weekend, where more widespread coverage of rain and storms will bring some needed rain to more areas across Southwest Florida. We may even see some decent heavy downpours from the thunderstorms that do develop. The more unsettled weather pattern is set to continue into next week as well.
