A few storms return Monday afternoon

We’re heading into another summer-like week of heat, but a little extra atmospheric moisture will allow for some slightly higher rain chances compared to last week.

Monday will feature a few storms in the afternoon, with the better chances around I-75 and to the west of it.

Highs will climb back into the low 90s Monday, with 90-degree highs set to persist through the next 10 days.

We’ll see some changes in the form of higher rain chances Wednesday and Thursday as a weak front approaches from the northwest.

With moisture set to increase ahead of it, and a little extra lift provided by the front, Wednesday and Thursday will feature the best opportunities for rain out of the workweek, with additional chances set to persist into the weekend as the leftover energy from the front remains.
