Record heat expected for third straight day

Record heat is expected for the third straight day in a row. Daily high-temperature records will likely be tied or surpassed in many of our communities.

Most of our viewing area will reach the mid- to lower 90s during peak heating.

With the humidity factored in, many of our inland “feels like” temperatures will climb into the upper 90s.

A few showers and weak thunderstorms will be possible after lunchtime. These rain chances will increase on Thursday before dropping to zero at the week’s end.

Our boating forecast is not looking fantastic. Moderate chop and 2- to 3-foot gulf wave heights will be possible throughout Wednesday.
