Detectives already arrested Michael Allen Pritchard, 35, on a second-degree murder charge. He has been held without bond since his arrest on Dec. 3. Detectives began their investigation after receiving information from a witness who said Pritchard confessed to having shot the victim and to burying the body next to Pritchard’s house. The victim, who was physically handicapped, had previously been reported missing. Detectives searched Pritchard’s home and surrounding property on 10th Avenue Northeast where they discovered the body of the missing man buried in a shallow grave near the residence as described by the witness. Further investigation by detectives found Petrosian assisted Pritchard after the murder.
