Body found in Caloosahatchee River identified as 26-year-old Tampa area woman

Fort Myers Police have identified the body of a woman found in the Caloosahatchee River near the Tarpon Street Pier on Monday.

The deceased woman is Jade Tashae Robinson, 26, from the Tampa area.

Police say next of kin have been notified and have not released a cause of death.

Law enforcement adds, that have no outstanding persons of interest in this case as she died by suicide.
