Credit: Google Maps A man from Georgia is in serious condition after crashing into a light pole in Charlotte County early Thursday morning. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a tractor-trailer driven by a 36-year-old man from Abel, Georgia, was traveling south in the right lane of I-75 around 1:45 a.m. The driver lost control of the tractor-trailer, which traveled off the roadway to the right and collided with a light pole on the grass shoulder. The tractor-trailer overturned and spilled numerous large cylindrical tubes onto the shoulder. The driver was seriously injured.
