Credit: CBS The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed it is investigating a death Thursday morning. The crime scene is at 900 Kings Highway, the site of a Shell gas station and a bus stop near Port Charlotte. Later the same morning, CCSO confirmed the death is not being investigated as suspicious. They added the cause of death is pending autopsy and toxicology results which may take weeks.
