FEMA launches text feature to find shelter after a natural disaster

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is making it easier to find shelter after a natural disaster.

FEMA is launching an updated version of its text feature. Now, All you have to do is text the word shelter and your zip code to 4-3-3-6-2.

Then FEMA will send you a list of shelters within 200 miles of your zip code.
