ArtFest is taking over downtown Fort Myers this weekend. And while night one wrapped up on Friday, there’s plenty more ahead.

On Saturday at 10 a.m., the festivities will start once again. Dozens of art vendors will return to ArtFest throughout the weekend and this event welcomes people of all ages.

ArtFest features art in all mediums, including jewelry, paintings, clothing, shell art, etc.

A local artist told WINK News that the festival has been very lucrative for her small business. Sherry Page is an artist. “I’ve been able to sell some art here, and I’ve got some good feedback. I even got one new follower who’s going to help put some of my art in his stores, some local stores around Fort Myers that he owns, so that was pretty exciting for me,” said Page.

WINK News also spoke to patrons about what pieces they had to buy and add to their collections. Nata Monk was there for the smells just as much as the sights.

Oh, we did. We went to the candle place and got this adorable expresso-scented candle. How cute is this? Isn’t this adorable? Yeah, so that’s what we bought,” said Monk.

ArtFest runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
