Here are three fugitives wanted by Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

Alain Lopez Hernandez (DOB 10/29/83) – Wanted in Collier County on a bench warrant for failure to appear on three counts of burglary, grand theft of a firearm, two counts of grand theft, and the possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

He is accused of breaking into at least a dozen homes in Naples, stealing firearms, jewelry, and even silverware from the kitchen.

In each instance, he broke into the homes through unlocked doors and ransacked the houses. Each break-in occurred during the daylight hours when the homeowners were at work.

His most recent address was in East Naples, and his employment shows as unemployed. He’s been on the run since late December and detectives believe he’s still in the area.

Paolo Melendez (DOB 2/23/95) – Wanted in Lee County on an order revoking pretrial supervision on charges of false imprisonment & aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

On New Year’s Eve, he got into an argument with a female which quickly escalated into violence. He ended up holding the woman against her will at gunpoint inside a local business.

When she tried to call 911 for help, he grabbed her phone and keys. She managed to run out of the business at one point, however, he grabbed her and pulled her in. A security surveillance company saw the whole thing unfold and called 911 to report it, which led to Melendez’s arrest.

He was released from jail the next day, however, a judge has since rescinded that decision and has ordered him back to jail. He has a history of violence, with five priors on his record for drugs and battery/domestic violence by strangulation. He was last known to be living in Cape Coral.

John Owens (DOB 4/11/98) – Wanted in Lee County for violation of probation for burglary and scheming to defraud.

The original arrests came after he spent several consecutive days heisting hundreds upon hundreds of dollars worth of powdered baby formula from local grocery stores. At one store, he stole 36 cans, the next day he stole 30 cans from another store, and the following day another 29 cans from another store.

He has seven previous bookings in Lee County for grand theft, burglary, battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting and fraud, as well as jail time in Charlotte and Sarasota Counties for theft and in Collier County on 11 charges of assault, theft, and battery.

He is 6’0”, 160 pounds, with a tattoo of a money bag on his left arm and music notes on his right arm. And upon his arrest, he will be held without bond.
