Bonita Springs Fire is investigating a blaze that tore through the roof of a vacant duplex on Pueblo Bonita Boulevard Tuesday morning.

Firefighters received the call after 4 a.m. The duplex was being remodeled, but no workers were present when the fire started. The roof has collapsed, but other damages are still being evaluated. Estero Fire also arrived at the scene to offer support.

According to BSF, the fire was completely out in 10 minutes. The cause of the fire is still undetermined. The Bonita Springs Fire public information officer says foul play is not suspected, but the state fire marshal will decide that after an investigation.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
