Fort Myers man sentenced to 10 years in prison for selling crack cocaine

Stanley James Griffin, 32, was adjudicated guilty and sentenced to 10 years in prison, as a Habitual Felony Offender, for Sale or Delivery of Cocaine and Possession of Cocaine with Intent.

His prison sentence will be followed by five years of State Probation. He was found guilty in December following a trial in Lee County.

In 2019, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit conducted an undercover operation. Surveillance was done which captured the defendant selling $1,400 worth of crack cocaine. Griffin was then taken into custody.

Assistant State Attorney Michael Curley and Assistant State Attorney Andrew Riordan prosecuted the case.
