Credit: CBS A blue pickup truck led Fort Myers police on a chase into Lehigh Acres after possible gunshots early Monday morning. Officers heard what may have been gunshots in the downtown corridor of Fort Myers at around 2 a.m. When they arrived, they located a blue pickup truck driving so erratically that it almost struck one of the patrol vehicles. They pursued the truck into Lehigh Acres where they eventually found it unoccupied. There was no sign of the driver after a search of the area. A handgun was recovered, though, and the investigation will continue. There are no reports of property damage or victims.
