Authorities say this suspect robbed a Dollar General in Lehigh Acres on Wednesday. (CREDIT: WINK News) Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is looking for tips from the public after an armed robbery suspect entered a Dollar General in Lehigh Acres on Wednesday. It happened at the store at 1154 Alabama Road just before 10 p.m. The suspect showed the victim a gun hidden in the front pocket of a hoodie-sweatshirt and demanded money from the safe. The victim handed over the money and then the suspect fled on foot and possibly got into a vehicle across the street. Authorities say the suspect is also a person of interest in two other similar robberies earlier this week at 7-Eleven locations in Lehigh Acres. If anyone has any information or can provide any assistance with identifying this subject is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).
