Suspect tied to 2 separate Lehigh Acres 7-Eleven robberies a week apart

One man is now suspected of robbing two separate 7-Eleven locations in Lehigh Acres within the same week.

Deputies say the unknown man robbed a 7-Eleven on Delaware Road shortly before 1 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 10 and told the cashier he had a gun, but never brandished any weapon.

The same suspect robbed a 7-Eleven on Meadows Road just before 4 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 17. The suspect approached the cashier, brandishing a black semi-automatic handgun and demanding money from the register.

Anyone with information on the identity and whereabouts of the suspect can call SWFL Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-8477. All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000. Tips may also be made online or on the P3Tips mobile app.
