(Credit: WINK News) The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that left one person dead near the Family Discount Food Store in Pine Manor. People in the neighborhood are trying to figure out how this happened. WINK News spoke to one man who heard the shots. Before the deputies got to the scene and before the night fell Michael Henjum heard it all. “All of the sudden, five or six shots rang out all in a matter of two or three seconds.” In seconds, he knew what happened. “I turned and I told everybody, those are gunshots. Because I shoot a lot of guns. Man down immediately, and there were some another man standing next to him.” Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies said those men knew each other. “Two male parties had a verbal altercation that turned physical, during that physical altercation shots were fired,” said Sheriff Carmine Marceno during a new conference on Thursday. Marceno said one person was killed and two others were injured. They are expected to survive. That news doesn’t surprise Henjum. “This world is gotten so crazy that it’s just sad to see this kind of stuff happening and you know, it’s strange.
