Beautiful weather for Thanksgiving in SWFL

Southwest Florida will experience weather to be thankful for this Thanksgiving: Plenty of sunshine to start the day will transition to a mix of sun and clouds by the afternoon as a few puffy cumulus clouds drift in from the east.

Thursday will stay dry today and also be a bit warmer than Wednesday, with highs hitting near 80 for many of us across Southwest Florida.

For Black Friday shoppers heading out early, look for milder lows in the 50s to low 60s. No rain for shoppers heading out! In fact, we will stay dry yet again through the day Friday.

A weak cold front will move through Friday night into Saturday morning as a dry front. We should only see a slight drop in temperatures for the weekend, with highs back in the mid-70s and lows in the mid- to upper 50s.

We could be looking at another moving through late Sunday into Monday morning, which may bring the return of some rain to the area, although there is still some disagreement amongst forecast models. Stay tuned!
