Naples man hit $1 million jackpot on Gold Rush lottery game

The Florida Lottery announced on Wednesday that 35-year-old Eric Bratt of Naples won $1,000,000 with a Gold Rush Limited scratch-off game.

Bratt bought his winning ticket from Publix on 9th street North in Naples. That Publix will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the ticket.

Bratt chose to take his winnings in a single lump-sum payment, meaning he walked home with $795,000.

The Gold Rush Limited $20 scratch-off game features 32 jackpot prizes of $5 million, 100 $1 million prizes and more than 33,000 prizes ranging from $1,000 to $100,000.
