Southwest Florida restaurants open on Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving is here, which for some means, hours of cooking delicious meals. But for others, it’s time to rest and have someone else cook for you.

It’s important to call ahead and make sure restaurants are open, but here are some of the eateries that say they will be serving food on Thanksgiving for those averse to the kitchen.

Lee County

In Cape Coral, Marker 92 Waterfront Bar & Bistro, at the Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village, is offering a dedicated holiday dinner menu. The full menu can be found here. Pricing is $79 for adults and $29 for children ages 6 to 12. 5961 Silver King Blvd.

In Fort Myers, the Luminary Hotel will be serving up holiday staples at its three restaurants on site. 2200 Edwards Dr.

• The Silver King Ocean Brasserie is serving up a prix fixe menu that includes three courses, including favorites like roast turkey and prime NY strip steak. To see the menu, visit this site. For reservations, click here.
• The Oxbow Bar & Grill will offer Thanksgiving specials and football all day, including a smoked Cajun turkey breast po boy. Reservations are recommended. For a table, visit here.
• Ella Mae’s Diner will offer southern-style comfort food from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations are not needed.

Also in Fort Myers, Farmers Market Restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for take-out only. For more information visit their site. 2736 Edison Ave.

Shoeless Joe’s Sports Café at the Crowne Plaza Fort Myers at Bell Tower is offering in-person dining from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at its on-site restaurant, Shoeless Joe’s Sports Café. The cost is $24.95. For more information visit the site. 13051 Bell Tower Dr.

Cattyshack Cafe, at Gulf Coast Town Center, will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will offer coffee, beer, wine, sandwiches, pastries and will also offer a special menu offering for a light holiday lunch. No reservations are needed. Guests hoping to interact with the room full of adoptable cats are encouraged to make a reservation for that experience. 9902 Gulf Coast Main St D-140, Fort Myers.

Stillwater Grille will also be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all of the fixings, plus a limited menu. 13451 McGregor Blvd.

In Bonita Springs, the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa will provide a Thanksgiving day buffet from noon to 5 p.m. The cost is $100 for adults and $45 for children. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 239-444-1234.

Also in Bonita, Roy’s Restaurant will be open on Thanksgiving and offering take-home meals. Orders for those take-home meals must be placed by Monday, November 22. Hours on Thanksgiving are from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. They are offering a 3-course island-inspired turkey dinner. 26831 South Bay Drive.

Fort Myers Beach has a number of restaurants open, according to the Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce.

The Bubble Room on Sanibel is open for a Thanksgiving meal, but reservations are required. To make a reservation call 239-472-5558.

Collier County

Baleen is open from noon to 8 p.m. and will offer a Thanksgiving special for $115 per guest. For more information, visit their website. 9891 Gulf Shore Dr.

Bistro821 is offering a honey and herb brined roast turkey or a domestic lamb shank for its Thanksgiving dinner. To make a reservation, visit their website. 821 Fifth Avenue South.

The Continental is offering a Thanksgiving menu from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30. Take a look at the menu. 1205 Third Street, Naples.

Southern Style Kitchen & Cocktails will offer a traditional feast from noon to 7 p.m. The restaurant is located at 492 Bayfront Place, Naples.

Stoney’s Steakhouse in Naples is offering a Thanksgiving dinner with various seating times beginning at noon and going until 6 p.m. For the menu, click here. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 609-304-0893. The restaurant is located at 403 Bayfront Place, Naples.

Seasons 52 in Naples will be open for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and for dinner from 3 p.m. to 9  p.m. If you would like to make reservations you do so on their website. Seasons 52 is located at 8930 Tamiami Trail N, Naples.

Charlotte County

Cracker Barrel is offering individual homestyle turkey n’ dressing or country fried turkey plates from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. 800 Kings Parkway, Port Charlotte.
