Pedestrian killed in crash on Hanson Street in Fort Myers

A man was killed after a crash in Fort Myers, according to the Fort Myers Police Department.

This happened near the intersection of Ford and Hanson Streets in Fort Myers. FMPD says a pedestrian was hit and killed at about 9 p.m.

Hanson Street, between Metro Parkway and Highlands Circle, will be shut down for several hours.
