And the community is rallying around the family to help them pay medical bills. The community is holding a fundraiser for Jacob Arledge, at a Cape Coral restaurant. A car shop Savage 4X4 is the organizer of the event. They are planning a Jeep, car and motorcycle show. There will be food, drinks and raffles. Jacob was diagnosed with stage 3 lymphoma a year and a half ago. His mother stopped working in order to care for him and take him to his medical appointments. “He loves cars, trucks, jeeps, buggies, anything motorcycles. So whatever anybody can bring out, would be exciting for him,” said Linda Thompson, the owner of Savage 4X4. Thompson said hopefully Jacob, who loves cars, will be excited by the vehicles.
