Community organizations are partnering up to give a second life to the furniture at the Naples Beach and Golf Club before it turns into a Four Seasons resort.

Before heavy construction began, Habitat for Humanity, St. Matthews House, the Von Arx Wildlife Hospital and the Greater Naples YMCA loaded their trucks with furniture.

The organizations were given full bedroom sets, kitchen tools and personal care items.

Recycling helps the community and keeps items from going to waste.

“They gave us 30 rooms of furniture to completely outfit this business that we have to help us feed the poor and the homeless and the hungry,” said Jamie Shedden, director of Retail Operations at St. Matthew’s House.

The furniture will help the St. Matthew’s House Outreach Center in LaBelle.

The New Four Seasons is set to open at the end of 2023.
