A woman is making her voice heard through art.

Simone Eisenbeiss is from Switzerland. She is painting an eagle and other animals on the side of Franklin Shops in downtown Fort Myers.

Eisenbeiss first sketched the animals with chalk and is now using acrylic paint to bring her mural to life. This mural will be called “Treasured Wildlife.”

“Actually, it’s a project for saving the wildlife in Captiva Island and Florida,” said Eisenbeiss.

“It’s important to stand up in life for subject environment, animals or humans. It’s our duty,” she said.

Eisenbeiss believes the mural could take a few more days to a week to complete.
