The School District of Lee County and Golisano Children’s Hospital are partnering to hold COVID-19 Vaccine clinics for students ages 5-17, parents, and employees. Child vaccines, adult vaccines and boosters will be available, according to the district. The clinics are offered at no cost, and receiving the vaccine is completely optional. Parents or guardians of eligible students must accompany their students to the appointment where Golisano Children’s Hospital staff will administer the Pfizer vaccine. The district says, there could be a wait as individuals are vaccinated on a first-come, first-served basis, and while supplies last. After receiving the vaccine, individuals will be required to wait in the vaccination area for 15 minutes to monitor for any adverse reactions. The second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine will be scheduled at the time of the first dose. Saturday, November 13 9 a.m. to Noon Golisano Children’s Hospital 9981 S.
