Glen Hallman (Credit: Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office) A man has been arrested for a drunk driving crash that killed a man on a motorcycle in Charlotte County. Florida Highway Patrol has arrested Glen Hallman, 60, of Venice. He is facing charges of DUI manslaughter. FHP troopers say on March 1, Hallman was travelling south on US-41 in Charlotte County just south of Veterans Boulevard when he went to make a left turn. Troopers say Hallman made the turn in front of a motorcycle travelling north. Troopers say the motorcycle hit the right-front side of Hallman’s car before coming to rest further down the roadway. Troopers say the man on the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. Hallman was arrested on Wednesday and has been booked into Charlotte County Jail.
