Record heat returns for the second day in a row

Above-average temperatures return to the forecast under partly cloudy skies. The Fort Myers area is forecast to tie our record high for the second day in a row.

A few stray showers are possible after lunchtime. These will be primarily focused along our coastal zones.

As we approach the weekend, more dry air will push into Southwest Florida. This will slightly drop our rain chances.

If you can dodge our coastal showers, Friday’s boating forecast looks fantastic.

There’s only one disturbance we are tracking in the Atlantic. This is a weak and unorganized system that will likely remain in the Mid Atlantic for its lifespan.
