Record high temperatures are forecast this afternoon

Rain chances will decline as our high temperatures will slightly climb during peak heating. Expect warmer weather than Wednesday with record high temperatures.

Fort Myers and Naples will take a stab at tying or breaking our daily high-temperature records set in 2019!

Today’s showers and weak thunderstorms will be isolated, mainly forming after lunchtime.

We will only see our rain chances drop into the weekend as a new batch of dry air slowly enters Southwest Florida.

In the Atlantic, we are not tracking any named storms. A weak disturbance with a low chance of cyclone formation is slowly drifting away from the United States at the moment. There is no other region of disturbed weather we are monitoring in the tropics at this time.
