DeSantis holds press conference with DEO chief in St. Pete Beach

Governor Ron DeSantis holds a press conference with the Department of Economic Opportunity Secretary Dane Eagle and Enterprise Florida Secretary of Commerce Jamal Sowell.

The conference was held at 11 a.m. at Crabby Bill’s in St. Pete Beach.

Governor DeSantis spoke about improving infrastructure throughout the state and shared information on the economic and tourism growth that Florida has seen in recent months.

The Governor also spoke briefly about first lady Casey DeSantis’ breast cancer diagnosis saying that she is a strong woman and has accepted the diagnosis and is ready to fight it. Governor DeSantis also encouraged both men and women to get tested for cancer regularly.
