Rainy season pattern returns later this week

Above-average heat continues this afternoon. Expect highs to reach the lower 90s during peak heating under increasing cloud cover.

Our humidity will slowly increase into a muggy feel by Thursday.

That surge of tropical moisture will have large impacts on our rain chances. Expect daily scattered storms to return to the forecast on Thursday.

We are only tracking one named storm and one disturbance in the Atlantic. Victor fizzled out in the Mid-Atlantic and is no longer an organized system. Sam will meet the same fate in the open waters of the North-Atlantic next week.

We are tracking a weak cluster of thunderstorms near the Bahamas that has a low chance of formation by this weekend. Even if this does form into a tropical depression or storm, it would likely move away from Florida. Regardless, this disturbance will have direct effects on our rain chances through the weekend.
