Funeral service for Gabby Petito scheduled for Sunday

The date and time for the funeral of Gabby Petito, a woman whose disappearance drew national attention, has been confirmed by her father.

Services for Gabby will be held at Moloney Funeral Home, 825 Main Street, Holbrook, New York on Sunday, September 26, from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Gabby’s family is asking for donations to the future Gabby Petito Foundation. Donations can be made online at the Johnnymacfoundation.org.

Gabrielle “Gabby” Petito, 22, was reported missing during a road trip with her fiance Brian Laundrie and was later found dead.

Her body was found in the Spread Creek area in Wyoming on Sunday.

Petito’s fiance has been named a person of interest in her death but has yet to speak with law enforcement and is also considered a missing person.

Laundrie is also wanted on federal charges for unauthorized use of a credit card after her death.

The FBI is still asking for anyone who was in that area to report anything they may have seen, focusing on the dates of August 27 to 30. While this is no longer a missing person case, it remains an active investigation.
