Credit: Lehigh Acres Fire Control & Rescue District A fire at a Lehigh Acres home Thursday morning is being investigated as possible arson, according to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office crime map. The Lehigh Acres Fire Control & Rescue District responded to reports of a house fire on Alabama Road S. before 4 a.m. A small stretch of the road had to be blocked off for the response. The fire was extinguished before 7 a.m. with a minor injury reported but no transport needed.
