Credit: MGN A 32-year-old man was transported to the hospital in critical condition after he was struck by a vehicle in Collier County on Saturday night. The crash happened on Santa Barbara Boulevard, approaching Santa Clara Drive, just before 10 p.m. The Florida Highway Patrol said the man, of Immokalee, was running south in the northbound lanes of Santa Barbara Boulevard when he darted into traffic. A vehicle driven by a 61-year-old Naples man struck the pedestrian. The driver was not injured. The Florida Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of individuals involved in traffic crashes, citing Marsy’s Law.
