A woman in Southwest Florida has won it big. Florida Lottery says Maria Lezcano, 60 of Cape Coral won a $1 million prize from a Billion Dollar Gold Rush Supreme scratch-off game she bought from a Petro America location on NE Pine Island Road in Cape Coral recently. According to the press release, Lezcano claimed the prize at the lottery’s Fort Myers district office, where she chose to receive her prize as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $880,000. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off.
