The following is weekly COVID-19 vaccine, case, and death data as reported by the Florida Department of Health for Sept. 3 – Sept. 9.

FLORIDA RESIDENTS

  • 3,409,165 CASES / 48,772 DEATHS
    • up from 3,308,916 cases / 46,324 deaths
    • 100,249 new cases reported
    • 2,448 new deaths reported
  • 13,281,666 people have received at least one dose
    • up from 13,124,436
    • 157,230 new people have received at least one dose
  • 11,048,444 people are fully vaccinated
    • up from 10,880,393
    • 168,051 new people fully vaccinated

SOUTHWEST FLORIDA RESIDENTS

SWFL:

  • 204,365 CASES (deaths are no longer separated by county)
    • up from 195,805
    • 8,560 new cases reported
  • 880,910 people have received at least one dose
    • up from 871,940
    • 8,970 new people have received at least one dose

CHARLOTTE COUNTY

  • 20,916 CASES
    • up from 19,889
    • 1,027 new cases reported
  • 124,761 people have received at least one dose
    • up from 123,909
    • 852 new people have received at least one dose

COLLIER COUNTY

  • 52,526 CASES
    • up from 50,730
    • 1,796 new cases reported
  • 258,935 people have received at least one dose
